Privacy Policy

This website, kouratzis.com, is run by Stefanos Kouratzis, a photographer and writer based in Cyprus. He is responsible for the personal data described on this page.

What is collected

Contact form.

If you write to him through the form on the Contact page, the website receives the details you enter, which are your first name, last name, email address and message. Only the email address is required.

Visit statistics.

The website uses Wix Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. The owner sees summary figures. The website does not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels.

Cookies.

The website is built and hosted on Wix.com, which uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed to run the site and to measure visits. A cookie banner appears on your first visit. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then work less well.

How your data is used

Messages from the contact form are used only to read and answer your message, and to take steps you ask for before an agreement, such as a commission, a print inquiry or a collaboration. This is based on the owner's legitimate interest in replying to people who write to him. Visit statistics and cookies that are not strictly necessary are used on the basis of your consent given through the cookie banner.

Email addresses are not collected for a mailing list or newsletter.

Personal data is not sold, is not used for advertising and is not used for automated decisions.

Who else handles your data

Wix.com Ltd. and its service providers host the website, receive the contact form messages and provide the visit statistics. They may store data on servers in several countries. Messages are delivered to the owner's email account, which is run by an email provider. Your data is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Contact form messages are kept only for as long as needed to deal with your message and any work that follows, and are then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, write through the Contact page and mention privacy in your message. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or to the data protection authority in your own country.
